Meeting Minutes February12, 2013 The meeting was held at Ellis Island Pizza because of remodeling at Three-Way.
Board Meeting Called to order at 6:26. The agenda for the general meeting was established, Patti requested 15 minutes during the regular meeting to discuss Gamblers Classic progress. Tom Jones indicated he would organize some caravan times for those wanting to go as a group to Gamblers Classic. Gary suggested that someone organize a driving event for the club in the near future. The meeting ended a 6:47.
General Meeting The meeting started at 7:02 PM.
Gary Smith led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance
Minutes from the January meeting were approved after a motion by Henry and a second by Adrian.
Marilyn Owen was absent so there was no membership report. Ed read the Treasurer’s report and we are solvent.
The club’s Valentine Day lunch is scheduled foe February 17th At Benji’s Basque.
Our community canvassing event to promote Gambler’s Classic is set for March 10th.
Preparations for Gambler’s Classic are continuing. There are 122 guests registered at this point. There is a pre-run on February 22 and 23. If you wish to go on the pre-run contact Patti or Ivan.
Adrian reported that the web site is up to date.
Tony volunteered to find a different location for the meeting because we were having to shout over the noise (someone said it was Karaoke).
Art Linn and Martha Mack supplied snacks for the meeting. Robert Vela supplied a tool set for the raffle. Tom Jones won the raffle prize and was also the winner of the $67.00 50/50.
