Still Saving Lives Car Show – May 2026
Congratulations to COB club member Jim Chambers for winning an award at the 24th annual “Still Saving Lives” car show for his stock C-8.
Ridge Route Run Car Show – May 2026
Corvettes of Bakersfield has done it again! Several members have attended the Ridge Route Run Car Show in Frasier Park sponsored by Mountain Memories Association. It was a good 10° cooler up in the mountains than in Bakersfield with a clear blue sky. Winners for the best Corvette in the C1 – C3 category were Ed and Linda Combs. Winners for the best Corvette in the C4-C8 category were Dale and Kathy Frye.
Ed and Linda had also won an award the previous weekend at the Taft car show for first place in pre-1979 Classics . Congratulations to all!
