Ridge Route Run Car Show – May 2026

Corvettes of Bakersfield has done it again! Several members have attended the Ridge Route Run Car Show in Frasier Park sponsored by Mountain Memories Association. It was a good 10° cooler up in the mountains than in Bakersfield with a clear blue sky. Winners for the best Corvette in the C1 – C3 category were Ed and Linda Combs. Winners for the best Corvette in the C4-C8 category were Dale and Kathy Frye.

Ed and Linda had also won an award the previous weekend at the Taft car show for first place in pre-1979 Classics . Congratulations to all!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wags and Wheels Car Show – May 2026

May 2, 2026. Congratulations to COB member, Bill Grafeman for winning the best Modern Muscle Car trophy at the Wags and Wheels Car Show benefiting the City of Bakersfield Animal Care Center. Free animal care, adoptions, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and animal care kits were provided along with a marching band and games for the kids.

April 16-18, 2026. Congratulations to our Corvettes of Bakersfield club winners. Event participants from all the other clubs selected Chris Espitia & Liz Zaninovich’s Corvette as the Top Corvette for COB. Jeff Salters and Mitch Townsen each received Awards of Exellence for their Corvettes.

Show & Shine Atascadero, CA – March 2026

On March 21, 2026, a small group from the Corvettes of Bakersfield attended the 2nd Annual Show and Shine hosted by Corvette Pacifica – Everything Corvette Wholesale Parts in Atascadero, CA! There was a nice group of friends from SLO Vettes and other clubs and plenty of great cars. Thank you Mike of Corvette Pacifica for inviting us.
