Solvang Wine Tour Run
The Corvette Owners Club of San Diego and The Palm Springs Corvette Club have invited the Corvettes of Bakersfield to Solvang on March 21 thru 24, 2026 for a Vineyard Tour.
Deadline for signups is 12/1/2025
Hotel: The Corque Hotel (Marriott) cost is $607 for 3 nights. We have a block of 60 rooms. 400 Alisal Rd, Solvang, CA 93463 (805) 688-8000
Wine tour: The Tour cost with transportation, lunch and wine tasting is approximately $175 pp; No wine tasting $125 pp (pending participation)
Saturday: Travel day. Since the San Diego and Palm Springs clubs are traveling further, they won’t arrive in Solvang until 4:00 pm or later. We can stop for lunch in the Santa Maria area such as the Blast 825 Brewery or a different restaurant if someone has a better suggestion.
After lunch, we can head to Solvang and explore the area and check into our hotel. We will be on our own for dinner.
Sunday: We meet in the parking lot for coffee and socializing. The Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum is within walking distance of the hotel. Admission is $10 pp. The museum has an amazing display of vintage motorcycles. These include very rare models from the early 1900’s. The craftsmanship of these early bikes is truly amazing and extremely unique. Optional trip to the Mendenhall Museum of Gasoline Pumps and Petroliana $25 pp.
Group reservation for dinner is at A.J. Spurs restaurant in Solvang.
Monday: After breakfast we board buses to go on the wine tour. First stop is Babcock Winery for a leisurely wine tasting. Next stop is Vega Wine & Farm for more wine tasting, lunch, and walk around the grounds which includes a petting farm. Last stop is a Speakeasy.
Tuesday: Travel home
